How to Copy Last Year's SignUp Plans to This Year

Start Fresh Each Season Without Starting Over

Last Updated June 17, 2026

You do not have to rebuild your SignUp from scratch every year. There are two ways to reuse a previous season's plan: duplicate it to create a brand-new SignUp, or reset it to keep the same URL. Here is how both work.

Option 1: Duplicate (Most Common)

Duplicating creates a fresh SignUp with a new title and a new shareable invitation link. Participant assignments do not carry over.

  1. Log in and go to My SignUps. Filter for Past SignUps if you need to locate an older one.
  2. Click the gear icon and select Duplicate.
  3. Enter a new name and choose either Duplicate All Spots (keeps same dates) or Move Spots to New Start Date (shifts everything forward).
  4. Fine-tune spots, details, and invitation settings from the Spots, Details, and Invite tabs.

Option 2: Reset

Resetting lets you rename the SignUp and set a new start date while keeping the original shareable URL active. The current SignUp is auto-archived and all participants and assignments are removed. Use this option when you want people to continue using the same link year after year.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

  • Participant assignments never carry over automatically with either option. You will need to re-invite or re-assign participants.
  • If the SignUp has a multi-year history, the duplicated version will list multiple years going forward.
  • For multi-date events, match the first day of the week to the same day in the new calendar rather than using identical dates.

A new season deserves a great plan. Start yours today.
