Meet the SignUp Team Authors
We're the humans behind SignUp — part product nerds, part community-organizing enthusiasts, part serial list-makers. Since our roots as VolunteerSpot in 2009 (rebranded to SignUp in 2016), we've helped over 35 million people and 85,000+ US schools coordinate everything from bake sales to blood drives to backyard birthday parties.
But we don't just write about using SignUp. We're also the ones geeking out over what makes a volunteer shift actually fill up, debating the best way to word a reminder email so people don't ignore it, and collecting the best (and most chaotic) stories from PTA presidents, team parents, and community organizers everywhere.
