How to Lock Your SignUp or Schedule Open and Close Times
Control Exactly When Participants Can Sign Up

SignUp Locking is a Plus and Max Premium feature (including Campus and Organization Plans). It lets you lock the entire SignUp, set scheduled open and close dates, send reminders, and even set rolling locks for recurring events. Basic members can still manually lock individual date slots.
What You Can Do with SignUp Locking
- Lock or unlock the entire SignUp immediately
- Schedule open and close dates and times automatically
- Send reminder emails to current participants before closing
- Use rolling locks so each shift closes a set number of days before it occurs
How to Set It Up
- Complete your initial SignUp setup and preview it.
- Go to Settings and choose SignUp Locking.
- Choose to lock the SignUp immediately or schedule future lock/unlock times.
- Optionally set opening or closing reminder emails for current participants.
- Invite participants to your SignUp as usual.
When your SignUp is locked, participants can still view spots on mobile but are not able to sign up. On a laptop or desktop device, a message displays letting them know the SignUp is currently closed.
